One of my favorite applications with 2.0 is the diigo
application I signed up for to collect bookmarks and the blog I created. The
reason I chose the blog as one of my favorites web 2.0 application is because it’s
much simpler to keep track of the multiple categories of information. It can be
used for many areas of learning abilities and teaching capacities. After using
diigo I discovered that I am able to bookmark material and share related
information with my class, friends, and colleagues. Diigo also allows me to
edit or highlight articles that I want to send the other users. In addition to
using diigo, I enjoyed the use of the blog that I created. I never felt that I
would have the technical skills to create my own personal web content for
viewers who are interested in finding relevant information from like-minded
individuals. The blog caused me to
understand how HTML functions, how screen casting can be used, how comments can
help, and ways of importing graphics and videos. The blog was a major
contribution for me because it manages its own space, and saves information so
I don’t have to erase old information to add new information.
